I don't have a faveourite movement either. I like a lot of african music, jazz 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, right up until 90s britpop. Not that I think music became **** after that but most of what's popular is. Most of what I listen to from late-90s till now is a bunch of low-fi indie/folk sorta stuff, Delgados, Antony & The Johnsons etc ect. I find myself listening to a lot of older music, waay more often than current stuff. Maybe I'd have done that too if I lived in the 60s or 70s but I'm not convinced. I'm pretty sure its because the current movement consists of everybody and their dog forming a carbon copy poseur indie or girl/boy band.
