Default Been gone from the music seen for some time

I have been gone from the music sseen since I went to undergraduate many years ago and had to concentrate on my studies. That was the late mid 80s and I had one or two LPs, nothing really great that I would miss. I had one or two tapes, mosstly listened to the music on the radio and did not go out and spend dollars on the much of anything in terms of tapes. Won't miss anything from the tapes and LPs, could convert them to MP3 but wount miss anything by throwing them all in the garbage can. Now its twenty years latter and everything that I used to listen to is considered to be classic pop and somehow that gets on my nerves a bit, so I have dialed foward to 2008 and found a whole new music technology, MP3 and a whole set of new musicians. As a consequence I have a bit of technoshock and culture shock. I am in the process of filling up my 1gb MP3 player with new hits and loving every minute of it. Its like I am right back in the goove that I left behind me years ago. I have taken to Rihanna, Christine Agulara, Britney Spears, Camp Rock and the Jonas Brothers (I like there track Burning Up). Although I am conversant with computers I am having a bit of dificulty learning to work with my MP3 player, may ask some questions with regards to working with the player to help me along.
