I know I had problems getting into the Stones until I got over all that "greatest rock band in the world" crap. Forget about how good they're
supposed to be. Let It Bleed and Sticky Fingers might not be the greatest albums ever, but there's some great stuff between those two records. Can't You Hear Me Knocking is their hidden gem, and it's far better than the tired Stones stuff that everyone's heard a thousand times (Start Me Up, Satisfaction, Get Off Of My Cloud, Brown Sugar).
