to emotive: While I find emo a very enjoyable genre, one in which I own many titles, I also find that you don't really have a clue what you are talking about. Number one. You can hardly say emo is "the deepest kind of music" seeing as nothing best represtents the artists feelings and emotions more than classical. And what's deep to you might not be deep to someone else. Just because some 20 year old in some band comes up with a clever way to describe his latest break-up doesn't nessesarilly make him/her lyrics deep. And you say that people should "listen to the lyrics and feel what they are saying." To start here, I find this rather pathetic as if you can't find meaning in your life, you have to take other's on yourself. And secondly, lyrical content doesn't make the music sound any better. People don't like emo because of its sound charectoristics, not because the lyrics are lame. Anyway, that's just what I was thinking upon reading your post.
