Default Heat Eleven: Battle of the Bands

The Zombies:

Some cool 60’s rock *** psychedelic pop check out Odessey and the Oracle, unfortunately also hyped by pitchfork.

Neil Young:

Ignoring that he’s Canadian he has some brilliant solo stuff most notably After the Gold Rush, Neil Young is pretty much the perfect artists to win this, he’s influential, has a great set of solo albums. AND he’s in this competition with other bands.

Fifty Foot Hose:

Check out Cauldron for some solid American psychedelic rock.

Flower Travellin’ Band:

One of the best bands to come out of Japan playing their distinct version of prog and hard rock covers, until they get to Satori, they’re jangling heavy masterpiece. These guys are very cool.

White Noise:

Check out An Electric Storm, cool experimental/psychedelic rock.
