I perosnally wasn'tr a big fan of Metallica but St. Anger was the first of their albums I paid attention to in a big way - I liked the whole rpemise of the albums lyrical concepts, and the new sound was raw and refreshing in my opinion... and for some reason I have a deep and affecting love of albums that piss off a band's die hard fanbase.... i dunno what it is...
