I really didn't care about Rob or his relationship problems, and his monologues were really tiresome...

But Jack Black's scenes are classic. I've probably seen the movie a few dozen times just for those precious fifteen minutes (lately I've just been skipping the other stuff).

Anyone else slightly annoyed that the movie/book got its title from the Elvis Costello song (and the book talks about Costello a lot), yet the only Costello song in the movie is Shipbuilding (and you have to crank up your volume to the max to hear it)?
