get off my back!!i think lcd soundsystem described you people the best:
" i heard u have a compilation of every good song ever done by anybody, every great song by the beach boys, all the underground hits, all the modern lovers tracks, i heard you have a vinyl of every niagra record on german imports, i heard u have a white label of every seminol detroit techno hit, 1985, 86, 87, i heard u have a cd compilation of every good sixties cut, and another box set from the seventies, i hear everybody you know is more relevant than everybody i know..."
goddamn snobs!
i mean, chill out people it's just music...
You were the one who dismissed them without listening.it`s not a case of being snobby.

I`ve heard Interpol , I`ve heard Gang Of Four & I`ve heard Joy Division. I`m making an opinion on 3 bands i`ve heard and out of the 3 I rate the other 2 higher than Interpol. It`s got nothing to do with how old the album is or how underground it is it is because...

1. I think Ian Curtis is a great both vocally & lyrically
2. I rate Peter Hook as possibly one of THE best bass players ever
3. Joy Divison are much more musically diverse than Interpol ever have been
4. Joy Division are one of my favourite bands & it`ll take more than a bunch of overhyped NME poster boys in suits to change that

Musically snobbery?

I don`t think so.
