would you expect them to bring friends ? - yes
would you expect them to bring a pa asystem? - no
would you expect them to play for free? - no, i wouldnt expect them, many bands will play for free just to get the chance to play, but to not offer anything and expect them to play for free will just make you seem like an asshole.
