Yes,WiTTR.Also,Krallice,Weakling,Cobalt,Leviathan, Agalloch...that's in 2 seconds off the top of my head.
USBM can stand toe to toe with anyone,purists just don't like to admit it.And i have nothing to gain either way,i'm not from the US or Norway (nor anywhere in Europe).I'm as big an Immortal fan as the next guy,but this **** is getting old.If anything,USBM is better than euro BM at the moment.Most of the good BM coming out of Europe these days is from eastern Europe and has strong folk influences.
