"Kraftwerk's return to music was one of the most unexpected things to happen in the music world in 2007 (along with Scott Walker's snuff movie/art project, "Donald Duck"). However it wasn't a good thing. Kraftwerk's britpop inspired album which consisted of very little elctronic music (only electronic music used was a mockery of 80's pop and generic electronica). Thousands of people comitted suicide, along with 80% of Kraftwerk. The one remaining member, Ralf Hutter said "Well, a couple of years ago, we picked up the Morning Glory by Oasis and uh. I guess it just continued from there".
