I do them competitivly but I havn't since I was about 20. 6 years on its time to ride again.
I stick to sprints and olympic distances because I don't have the time to train for the halfs/fulls. I could find it but its more effort than its worth.
Shockingly, its not as close to as hard as I thought. The different disciplines don't communicate so after the first half mile I'm running like I didn't just bike 25 miles.
