Yeah, this song really has nothing to do with religion at all. To me it was always about conforming to reality, despite not wanting to at all hence the phrase "despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage." It pretty much is just an ode to how parasitic and draining society is.


I don't really know why I even bothered responding in thought to this, because I doubt you are ever going to post again, I guess I have always had a soft spot for this song, even though last time I listened to it I got bored half way through and switched to a different song.
