wheres all my sadness gone
i dont feel lonesome
ive passed through darkest of days
my head feels light presenting a new phase
i feel good,this feels strange
goodbye to all my yesterdays.
im so glad that im alive
after that painful nose dive
i truley feel light headed and free
this is my story.....
i didnt have to fight to get to the top,
it was given to me the bucket and mop.
i was given responsibilities,
something of which comforted me.
simple mind with simple pleasures,
easy accessable treasures.
but when they took liberties,
day in day out all poked fun at me
i began to lose control, it was a downward spiral.
dark clouds have passed
rainbow in the sky,
the sun is smiling and so am i.
A little hope goes a long way,
im ready to go back to work
to face another day.
I have an important job to do
just like that priminister fellow,
if i cut corners in my job all the people would bellow.
so wether your at the bottom, or the top
ul always need a bucket to clean up the slop
