I'm thinking of using one of Beefheart's songs in this Poetry Anthology project I have to do for my English class. One of the peoms we have to choose has to be a "popular" song. I haven't looked at the lyrics to much of his songs yet, but I like the style.

As for the anthology, Beefheart's got a great style. A lot of the songs on
Ice Cream For Crow are probably the best examples of his writing at its best, so you could always looks at the lyrics for that album for ideas.
