We'll I've only see 6 so far (he's made like 40 in the span of 15 years) and haven't really fallen in love with any of them, but I did like Ali: Fear eats the soul and In a Year with 13 Moons. The marriage of Maria Braun also has some strong points. I generally think he had very good ideas (and lots of them apparently), he just wasn't very good at realizing them...or at least not to my (shallow) taste...:\
