Bush has been cutting taxes and increasing federal spending in an effort to stimulate the economy. Although he may not be the smartest person, he surrounds himself with people that are. Are you familiar with Reagan's policies? Well, his ideology was that he needed to promote economic growth through supply side principles. His methods worked and this is exactly what Bush is doing now. He's not just some person that likes to make Americans suffer, he's trying to appease both parties as shown by his speech 3 days ago.

This is no offense to anyone, but I just don't feel that people actually understand what Bush is doing. Many immediately upbraid him for being an "idiot" when they are not familiar with his policies. As a person that lives in the North Eastern part of the US, I see television shows after television shows subjecting Bush to crude name calling simply because its the fashion. Don't believe everything you see advertised, and research for yourself the effectiveness of our presidents. Half the things we see in this world is propaganda anyway.
