How long is it going to take me to help you realize that I'm not talking about "accent" in the dictionary definition sense of the word? Forget what I said about British people. It doesn't matter.
Re-read everything I said, minus the British parts, and instead of the word "accent" appearing in your eyes and brain, replace it with "the way people compare my speaking in relation to others in America".
Then repeat the following phrase:
"Veridical Fiction has no accent" until it makes sense. However long that might take.
I already understand your point.
You seemingly are incapable of understanding mine.
Truly, we can have a conversation and not worry about whether a word we choose is the absolute truth in the context we're using them.
It's like me saying the leaf of a tree is green and you saying "Actually, that's only true in 98 percent of trees".
