I'm not saying it wasn't funny because it's stupid.
There's good stupid comedies out there, even the Farellys struck gold with Dumb & Dumber and There's Something About Mary.
By the standards of most of todays stupid comedies, I will say Step Brothers is better than most. But there's been way better, maybe I shouldn't call it bad, overall it's a two star film for me, nothing appalling, but very forgettable.
