Something like 36% of the population of Manchester are of Irish descent.
There are countless Irish bars dotted about town where you can go and listen to traditional Irish folk music.
None of the plastic Paddy stuff either.
Irish folk music should be better represented in this thread.
This is my favourite trad. Irish ballad and it never fails to quieten a pub.
