First, They are NOT metal core. I don't count them anywhere near that.
Second, The drummer is a GOOD drummer. They are so hard to come by with this stupid society being how it is with pussy drummers lining up to be in their own little bands.
Third, Synyster is the lead singer, is quite interesting to listen to, even if it doesn't suit your ear.
I can't honestly say I like Parkway drive, yet it's one of your favorite bands.
It's a matter of opinion and personality.
And my opinion is that this band has talent and likability, even if it's only with 50% of the listeners.
