I don't listen to metalcore.
But I know what the genre is, and they are not metalcore.
I usually end up not going by genre, but by style.
I put them into a punk/general rockiness style gone classy(because yes, they do have a bit of class to them).
Being so into classical music, I haven't got an ear to listen to most messy punk bands
(The clash and some other bands being the exception.)
You need structure to music, even if it's crazy structure.
At least they have that.
