A local band here went to a studio, not sure how much it cost them though. Must not have been to much seeing how they sell their cd's for 5 dollars each. Then a good friend of mines band recorded on a broken 8-track recorder and edited on their computer. Obviously the studio cd sounded better, but I guarentee my friends band didnt pay half as much to make their cd as the other band did, and they put a lot more effort into it. So either way seems okay to me.

Oh yea, this OTHER local band used one microphone and windows sound recorder. That's what I heard anyway. I have their cd and it sounds half decent.. Their are plenty of options I think...

Here's a thought; let's stop labeling music and fighting over what genre a certain band is, and start listening to whatever pleases our ears no matter what anyone thinks of it! ;)
