I would like to know all of your input on what guitar you find best suited for psychedelic space music from the outer worlds. No earthly Les Paul's please, just equipment that will send your ass floating to another planet. Personally I love the sound of a Gibson ES 335 (or its many counterparts like Samick RL's and whatnot) with high reverb for those spacey solo's, and able to handle the muddy sound of overdriven riffing.

So basically just tell me (or everyone else that cares) what guitar you have found to work well for this type of music.
