There are plenty of new, cheap acoustics you can get in stores and on places like eBay, but an olden, broken in guitar sounds infinitely better regardless of its quality.
I play an old beat up Yamaha that was a budget acoustic back in the day, and it sounds very warm and full, instead of overly-bright and tinny sounding new acoustic.
