If you begin to deconstruct a Bond film you could rip it to shreds in terms of reality, however it was still pretty damn good although a little humour wouldn't go amiss here and there.

Thanks to NSW's reminder, I dug this out as i've had it for a few months. The first half has some spectacular fight scenes but the more thoughtful and introspective second half resonated more with me. Still a fantastic movie though.
