Amsterdam is really pretty as well, don't just spend your time in a cafe getting stoned if you go. Paris is overrated. Apparantly the north of Scotland and Loch Lomond is one of the prettiest places to go but I think it's harder to see the beauty of your own country in its own right when it's become so everyday to you.
Budapest and some nice beaches in Croatia are next on the list. If anyone has any tips on where to go etc it would be appreciated.

you also get around...where do you people come up with the money to travel around so much?!...i don't think it's that difficult to appreciate the beauty of your own country, i for one think my country is beautiful, especially Dalmatia and the old cities on the islands...unfortunately my town ( Novalja, Island Pag ) has no historical value...but we have a bitchin night life ( in the summer ), lately people have compared it to Ibiza...thousands of young people visit every summer, and abuse the privilege ( people are having sex in public places and drugs of all sorts is being used and sold )...but it's a side effect of being a popular resort for young people i guess...
