I have to write an essay on what the "best" musical instrument is. I will focus mainly on rock, punk and metal bands ranging anywhere from 60's to present day. A very vague topic in my opinion as no guidelines are given following this. So my idea is to head towards:

What instrument draws you or gets your interest(generally) or the first instrument you listen for when listening to a new track or band?

Very vague i know.
