Honestly, if you're going to make any kind of monetary investment in music equipment, you may as well save your money and make a good one in something that A) you won't outgrow and B) will last.
If I were you, I'd save for this:
Buy Roland JUNO-G Workstation Synthesizer Keyboard | Keyboard Workstations | Musician's Friend
If you spend 300 dollars on a keyboard that you may quickly get bored of, that's less money you'll have when you finally realize that you want something better.
