@1. Then what are they? Dictionary.com defines "rap music" as "a style of popular music...in which an insistent, recurring beat pattern provides the background and counterpoint for rapid, slangy, and often boastful rhyming patter glibly intoned by a vocalist or vocalists."
I'm afraid that the commonly accepted definition of "rap" is basically what 3oh!3 is.
@3. I'm afraid this is untrue, since my brother (who attends college at the University of Mary Washington) was the one who introduced me to 3oh!3, and most everyone at his school and mine listen to (and majority enjoy) 3oh!3.
@4. Isn't the AAR an emo/punk/whatever band? Are they even close to rap?
@5. Yes, yes I have seen them. Are you referring to their apperances or their concerts?
@6. I own both CDs that they have released.
