I've always been mystified how the Wall illicits such harsh reactions from what you'd otherwise consider fans of the band.
I like the album a lot, I don't think it's there best or even in my personal top three and maybe the fact that it's often one of their highest regarded and most acclaimed albums by the popular majority that irks the fans.
The Wall features several classic tracks and holds up stronger on singles then DSOTM. It has a nice flow from start to finish and there is no song that's completely unlistenable even all these years later.
A lot of biased commentary there surely, but I don't think I'd struggle to find a heap of folks who'd share that sentiment largely.

If you're posting in the music forums make sure to be thoughtful and expressive, if you're posting in the lounge ask yourself "is this something that adds to the conversation?" It's important to remember that a lot of people use each thread. You're probably not as funny or clever as you think, I know I'm not.
