Yes, the concept of the HOF in this case is to highlight our favourites... How hard is that to understand?
Everyone has the chance to voice their opinion in the threads, and then they vote... It isn't based on popular opinion because there is no reason to base it on an opinion other than your own. Otherwise bands such as Led Zep, The Beach Boys, The Smiths would have easily been inducted into the HOF, yet they weren't.
