I enjoyed the Engine Room the few times I went. Verizon Theatre was ok but obviously a corporate venue...too clean but the sound and size are good. Let's see...Fitzgerald's was fun back in the day...though I was always scared to go on the balcony for fear of a collapse.

Many other nice small venues have come and gone. Many options that's for sure.
