The dopes who want the fairness doctrine are just as bad the the few remaining republican senators, their playing to an extremist base. Anyone who's good at playing politics knows you want to keep those idiots talking, and keep them pushing independents away.

If anything, the congressional democrats will push it through, and hope to get it by the senate to Obama, he can veto it and look like a moderate. He'll give a big speech on constitutionality, and pick up more republicans than he did last time.

Obama has no reason to push Limbaugh away. You're talking about blue democrats and barry sanders who arne't ever getting tossed out of office, short of a scandal.

The democrats know how to avoid a scandal. Clinton brush offed an attempt to remove him from office. Republicans have message discipline, democrats have topical-agility. I promise you, the fairness doctrine was born in a time of restrictiveness. Following the Reagan revolution, no Dem will support it.

Big government intervention isn't something they care about as much as it seems, especially as to who says what on the radio. Michael Savage and his ilk are allowing thm to pick up more and more states.

I'd put strong money on the republicans voting for the damn thing to shut these morons up.
