There are acutally more and more Asian musicians gaining popularity here, and not just Filipinos. For example, Dir en Grey, L.MC, Hikaru Utada, MUCC, and D'espairsRay are Japanese and all of them are becoming popular here. Se7en, a Korean artist, just recently released an album here, and Gackt, a Japanese singer/actor, is starring in his first American film this fall. Asian music is becoming more and more popular, along with other aspects of their culture, such as film, dance, and fashion.
