Arnel Pineda joined the rock group, Journey - he's Filipino. Neil Schon found videos of Arnel on Youtube, and was impressed by his singing.
I don't know too much of asian music, I've seen a concert on TV of the Twelve Girls Band, they play Chinese tradtional music.
