que? what? There is a huge difference depending on where a group is from. It's incredibly noticeable to me and I listen to pretty much everything

A majority of southern rappers focus more on party/club songs so their lyrics are horrible. Southern rappers do have some nice beats though.

Northeast/eastern rappers are more about the lyrics even in their club songs they are pretty tight and their production is usually on point also.

Midwest rappers well mostly around chicago they either go for more soulful type beats or they have super fast beats that's mixed with house music. that usually helps with Footworking.

Western Rappers....they are a bit harder to describe but I'll just focus on Bay area rappers....they have the similar uptempto fast beats for the whole krumping dance style they have out there.

of course these are just generalizations there are rappers that go against the formula for their area. Each area does tend to have a formula though
