Its 'worse' in Scotland! People always say when its raining up here, "Doon England, They Get Aw The Gid Weather". I actually(strangely) prefer the rainy weather to the hot,stuffy sunny days. Its the cold wind I dont like. So conversely, I am usually in a better mood when its pishing with rain as opposed to blaring hot sunshine & people dont understand it. I must be some kind of weather troll.
