Exactly. None of it makes any bloody sense. Why do we have to stand for the national anthem? What's the ****ing magic in standing up and listening to it as opposed to sitting down? Why does it matter whether or not I have a hat on while it's playing? At what point does this all boil down to some shit some guy just made up? If people spent a little less time crying about "respect" and "manners" and a little more time questioning things and generally just growing the **** up maybe we wouldn't have to put up with nonsense like this on a daily basis.
