A bump for this thread because I just recently discovered Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson's self titled record. I really love to hear songs so ramshackled and almost drunk sounding it seems as if there is a good chance the singer won't even make through the entire song, which is what I got from this album. It's weary and intense sounding, and for a guy only twenty-six years old, the lyrics and his voice make him sound much older. But what I love most is that I was able to find a singer-songwriter who instead of sounding soft and pretty which is what I hear to often these days, I heard gruff and somewhat self-deprecating. The first song I heard was this one
