Autumn Leaves
Celibate come autumn leaves,
Young boy his head hung low in shame.
Drip Chloroform tears on his pillow,
A pretty girl to take his hand.
A note of love placed among the eaves,
Of the house on the river tide.
I'm not sure I mind.
That the feather falls & the weather blinds,
Our eyes to you in the light.
come back again, come back again tonight.
Morose & staunch quarterly
duties he must declare.
His rank & section number, written on the wall.
Brass reflections of a tall glass,
A walk alone & he weeps
Over letters of dear old friends.
Drunk on autonomy
The fisherman's wife weeps softly,
into her handkerchief.
Possessing a lover,
with a passing love, poor Bethany.
His smile as we as the north.
