To be fair, most girls don't know what their doing either. When I was getting into the game I would ask women, and they didn't even know where their clit was.
That being said, the vagina isn't terribly straitforward and unless you've been given amazing directions or been taken to the clit, its impossible to find on your own. Depending on your age, its logical that none of your peers can find it.
