Superunknown was Soundgarden's "MTV" album. Louder than Love was definitely the apex of their career as far as creative output is concerned
their second 12" Touch Me I'm Sick / Sweet Young Thing was probably the closest they ever got to making a definitive "grunge" record though. Superfuzz Bigmuff gets a lot of credit on its name alone, haha.
