Heading out west to see the sun go down
fed up with the stormy east side of town
where everybody wears a frown
everyone of them should be earth bound.
I was asked where the hell i was going to
my reply was somewhere without you
a destination found by a fortunate few
where i may lay my head down.
I have been here, way to long
and the reason well, thats gone
in a blink of an eye, another yesterdays song
staying now well, that feels so wrong.
Iv'e heard so much about the west
but have never flown from the nest
and now i have the zest
to live somewhere as a guest.
So long to the east, with bustling streets
a fist of fury, sign posted east end story
out from the bitter cold
with cash from houses that are now sold.
Where a new future awaits me
a new creation i have yet to see
a body of ale delights me
into the busom in harmony.
