This:

Transfer iPod to computer Copy iPod to iTunes Backup iPod to PC

Whenever my computer crashed and I lost all my precious music gone with it, I still had it all on my ipod though, but because I didn't buy all 3,000 songs off of Itunes I couldn't recover any of the ones that i got off of CDs/downloads.

I stumbled upon this and it allows you to import every song from your ipod to your hard drive.

So all you need to do is download that, follow the steps, and import them to your external hard drive that doesn't have spyware.

And yeah, i used that piece of **** Kazaa before too.
