How was Bono making amends?
I think he cares about what he says he cares about. I don't think he's making a
mea culpa for jumping off stage to hug a fan, or doing a good show at Live Aid. Considering his lyrics he writes even from his first album, I think he was alway thoughtful, I don't think he changed that much since he was young either. I think he used his fame to point out social evils in the world, I think he knows that and with fame I think he feels he needs to do good and be the spokesman of our generation. I think he truely believes in
Noblesse oblige.
