haha

I was listening to "Oh Mercy" at work today. It's been a favorite of mine for some years now, but I rarely hear any discussion about the album on forums or anywhere else.

Any thoughts on "Oh Mercy"?

Personally, I like all the albums that Dylan (or Jack Frost if you so prefer) did with Danny Lanois. I feel like they've got a great set of working dynamics. Lanois was really able to hit on Dylan's strengths at the time instead of trying to force Dylan into a corner or relying on old tricks. It's a very cerebral album in that way, I think, and a decent precursor to later Dylan/Lanois collaborations like "Time Out of Mind".
