Off Zakks Book Of Shadows solo album, written about Shannon Hoone (Blind Melons lead singer). Its about his talent and how he "threw it all away"

Some lyrics I love:

I know you meant to stay" - probably about coming back from his high, rather than overdose or die of the usage of cocaines.
