I could probably say "written by Will Oldham, produced by Steve Albini" and leave it at that. It's kind of hard for me to explain how perfect this album is. It's very short but longer in it's necessary repetition. Oldham blends sex and death throughout the album in songs that are gentle, or violent, or loud, or drunk. I don't know man.

Hey - I hadn't noticed this before I reviewed the album in my journal. The bolded part is a really good description. I really don't like that Jeffrey Lewis kid's music though. His Will O. song drags on for like 25 minutes and its boring after about 30 seconds..
EDIT: on further inspection - Lewis's music isn't so bad - the will o song is just way too long
