Well, it's all about moderation, there are people who care too much about their appearance, there are also people who don't care enough about it obviously, considering America is the most obese country on earth.
What a person considers to be attractive and weither or not they want others to think of them as attractive, that's their business. I'm not gonna judge a person for that.
